Terms of Use
Terms for using Blockread, including acceptable use, data processing, public on-chain data, and how mandatory privacy rights apply alongside our Privacy Policy.
Terms of Use
Acceptance and user conduct
By accessing or using Blockread (the explorer website, APIs, and related services), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. You agree to use Blockread only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or interfere with the service. You must not attempt to damage, disable, overload, scrape, or disrupt Blockread, its APIs, or connected networks, or use the service to submit unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive content (including through transaction broadcast or decode features).
Services and data processing
Blockread provides read-only blockchain exploration, search, statistics, and optional tools such as transaction decode and broadcast. Using these services may cause technical and usage information to be collected and processed as described in our Privacy Policy, including under the legal bases explained there (such as legitimate interests, performance of the service, consent where required, and legal obligation). By using Blockread, you acknowledge that such processing may occur for operational, security, and business purposes.
Public blockchain data
Information displayed in the explorer (blocks, transactions, addresses, scripts, and related on-chain data) is public blockchain data published to decentralized networks. Blockread indexes and presents this data but does not control what third parties publish on-chain. Your use of Blockread does not make us responsible for how you use on-chain information, for the accuracy or completeness of network data, or for independent processing by third-party nodes, APIs, or realtime providers.
Privacy and data protection
Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms of Use and explains what we may collect, our legal bases (including for GDPR users), retention, international transfers, cookies, and your privacy rights. Nothing in these Terms of Use limits statutory data-protection rights that apply to you and cannot be waived under mandatory law. If there is a conflict between these terms and mandatory privacy law, mandatory law prevails to the extent of the conflict.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Blockread is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or fully up-to-date service. Blockchain data, mempool status, exchange rates, and realtime updates may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blockread and its affiliates are not liable for any damages or losses arising from your use of the service, including reliance on displayed data, failed broadcasts, third-party tools or analytics, or content accessed through Blockread. Nothing in these terms limits liability where such limitation is not permitted by applicable law, including mandatory consumer or data-protection rights.
Governing law and changes
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws applicable to Blockread’s operation from Armenia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory laws in your country of residence give you additional protections you cannot waive. We may revise these terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected on this page. By continuing to use Blockread after updated terms are posted, you agree to the revised terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. [email protected]
